At the production level, there are thousands of small and large decisions that contribute to the success of a concert. It is no secret how highly sensitive the concert situation and the musicians are, regardless of their level of fame. The unconditional focus on artistic excellence expected at every performance demands a great deal from the people working artistically on our stages. In addition to continuously moderating the interests of all those involved, the company's task also includes supporting the artists as much as possible.

With this in mind, I am sure you understand my concern to improve the spatial conditions backstage at the Wiener Konzerthaus. In the hours and minutes before the performance, we have to ensure an atmosphere that meets the artists' expectations of calm and concentration. In order to realize this professionally and adapted to the needs of the artists, I am asking for your help with the renovation and modernization of the orchestra dressing room!

The lion's share of the expenditure of € 500,000 will be spent on structural measures to ensure a continuous supply of cool or heated fresh air to the backstage rooms.  

Every contribution, regardless of the amount, makes a difference and serves to give music the status that is appropriate to the diversity of our cultures.
