Carte blanche in matters Amadé for the exceptional pianist Kit Armstrong and his hand-picked ensemble »Expedition Mozart« under the direction of the concertmaster of the Berliner Philharmoniker, Noah Bendix-Balgley! Piano and other solo concertos by the beloved of the gods will be heard alongside other instrumental music from his immortal pen on two evenings in the Great Hall and one (late) evening in the Mozart Hall. The first of these will be two of the »great« Viennese piano concertos (Nos. 23 & 24), which were written parallel to the »Marriage of Figaro« and in which Mozart used clarinets instead of oboes - as he had done only in the E-flat major concerto K 482 and not later.
