Presented by Wiener Konzerthausgesellschaft

»Im Klang«

The alternative concert format »Im Klang« offers a completely new sound experience of symphonic music: The audience takes a seat between the musicians of the Vienna Symphony Orchestra in the cleared out first floor of the Great Hall. If you wish, you can sit right next to your favorite instrument. This allows you to experience the music up close and in an unusual 360° perspective. The setting and the changed perspective allow for a deeper, unforgettable engagement with the music and encourage active listening. This time, the proverbial »up close and personal« performance by the Vienna Symphony Orchestra will feature »Whereas the Reality Trembles« by Johannes Maria Staud, conducted by Andris Poga and featuring percussionist Christoph Sietzen. The program is aimed at the whole family.
