Early mastery

Alexandra Dovgan has already thrilled audiences twice at the Vienna Konzerthaus. Now the pianist makes a guest appearance with works by Bach, Beethoven and Rachmaninoff. At just 16 years of age, she has already made her debut at some of the most important concert halls and festivals, such as the Théâtre des Champs-Élysées, the Concertgebouw in Amsterdam and the Salzburg Festival, and has worked with orchestras and conductors such as the Tonhalle Orchestra Zurich under Paavo Järvi. »Pianist Alexandra Dovgan can hardly be called a 'child prodigy,' for although her piano playing is a marvel, there is nothing childlike about it«, Grigory Sokolov judged. He described her talent as exceptionally versatile and balanced, her playing as truthful and concentrated.
