The wind blows from France
String quartet, piano trio, solo instruments and piano - this is what chamber music lovers can often experience. »One hears four reasonable people talking among themselves« so Goethe's aperçu to the string quartet. In the case of wind chamber music, it is different interlocutors who harmonize with each other, each with their own timbre. In this concert, the members of Les Vents Français, internationally esteemed musicians in their field, devote themselves primarily to post-Romantic repertoire from France, but also to a classical masterpiece by Mozart as well as Paul Hindemith's »Little Chamber Music« op. 24/2, an equal discourse between five wind instruments and piano. Exquisite chamber music repertoire played by exquisite musicians!
