Presented by Wiener Konzerthausgesellschaft

Capuçon+Violoncelli=Capucelli

Six violoncellos alongside Gautier Capuçon - this is how the not everyday ensemble Capucelli is composed. By performing in this formation, the world-famous cellist continues his commitment to his master class at the Fondation Louis Vuitton. Together with former prize winners of various classes, including Julia Hagen, he presents a series of arrangements and transcriptions of composers such as Maurice Ravel, Leonard Bernstein, Léo Delibes, Edvard Grieg, Astor Piazzolla and Henry Mancini - works of the most diverse styles, interpreted with great enthusiasm by cellists in a class of their own!
