Vienna is a cultural melting pot par excellence. And this diversity is also reflected in the songs of the musical capital. To kick things off, the Berger Havlicek Orchestra celebrates the 60th birthday of the contract guitarist and composer Peter Havlicek under the motto »Lifelines«. In a duo with actor Robert Kolar, Havlicek will also be serving up gems of Viennese humor in the best Brettl tradition, while Stippichs, Uhlers & Ditschs will be all about love, lust and passion. When the ingenious trio of Ernst Molden, Walther Soyka and Hannes Wirth meet Die Strottern & Blech - the »innovators of Viennese song« - there are no limits to poetry and the joy of playing. And when the trees bloom again in the Prater, Constanze and Tommy Hojsa, contraguitarist Rudi Koschelu, world-class bagpiper Agnes Palmisano, multi-instrumentalist Albin Paulus and the Duo Schrammelbach tie a colorful bouquet that combines Viennese songs and Schrammel culture with echoes of the music of the former Thomaskantor Johann Sebastian Bach.
