Erwin Steinhauer is one of Austria's most popular actors and cabaret artists. Instead of pursuing the career as a civil servant that his father wanted, he caused a sensation at the Burgtheater as »Mr. Karl« - without any acting training - and went on to star in over 160 TV and film productions. Since 2010, he has devoted himself increasingly to literature and music.
