Strong voices don't always have to be loud, as proven by Viennese musician Mira Lu Kovacs, who offers an emotional refuge with her music. With her voice, the singer shows herself to be vulnerable and encourages her listeners to do the same. Together with Clemens Wenger, member of the Viennese soul band 5/8erl in Ehr'n and founder of Jazz-Werkstatt, Mira Lu Kovacs released the album »Sad Songs To Cry To« in 2022, a veritable manifesto of melancholy. She always follows her principle of »radically soulful«, whether alone or together, whether pop, jazz or indie rock, whether loud or quiet.
