Musical adventure over thin ice of improvisation«, was what a German magazine said about a Martin Kohlstedt performance. Kohlstedt, born in 1988, is known for focusing on the momentary and the flow in his happenings. His atmospheric sounds develop further with each performance and follow the principle of modular composition in free combinatorics, in which pieces grow into new pieces. The music is flowing, organic, which suits Kohlstedt, the son of a forester: a few years ago, Kohlstedt bought land with the plan to plant it. Nature and art - close together here!
