Young lovers
Soprano Louise Alder, who made her debut at the Vienna Konzerthaus in 2020 in the title role of Handel's »Theodora« at the Resonanzen, not only has a luminous voice, but also a versatile repertoire. Under the motto »Young lovers«, she will perform an evening of songs ranging from Gabriel Fauré's best-known mélodies and joint compositions by Nadia Boulanger and her teacher Raoul Pugno to Gustav Mahler's Rückert songs (including the love song »Liebst du um Schönheit«) and a section of the programme dedicated to American songs from the 1950s (including from the Broadway musical »The King and I« by Rodgers and Hammerstein).
