A firework of the unheard of

»But what a firework of the unheard! What a wealth of rhythms, timbres, voices, vocals (...) And the spark jumps over, thanks to passion and perfection« was read in a music review about Simon Höfele. The »rising star« on the trumpet enjoyed his first instrumental lessons at the age of seven, and at fourteen he was already attending the Karlsruhe Music Academy as a young student. Soon the remarkable talent was accepted into support programs such as BBC Radio 3's »New Generation Artist«. Höfeles repertoire is considerable and ranges from Telemann and Haydn to contemporary music - he now gives an insight into the breadth of his spectrum at his concert in the »Rising Stars« cycle.
