»The Art of Song«

Frequently, songwriting has a cathartic effect for artists. In his latest album, Kristian Matsson a.k.a The Tallest Man On Earth comes to terms with, among other things, the death of a close family member and the divorce from his wife. »I wrote these songs when I was sad and confused, and was experiencing feelings of guilt and rage. But I realised that this is simply part of my life. That's just how life is: you're constantly having to deal with something.« The Swedish musician doesn't like being compared to Bob Dylan, but it's a comparison that can't be dismissed easily – his folk songs, his acoustic guitar sound, and his slightly raspy voice all resemble the young Dylan and promise to make the first concert of the »The Art of Song« a fantastic one.
