Schubert for everyone
Schubert's songs from different angles, explored in words and sound: Julian Prégardien, gifted lieder singer and creator of new formats, delves into the work of the great Romantic composer. On the first date of his new cycle, he invites Bryan Benner from the art song-affine singer-songwriter ensemble The Erlkings.
Exploration tour with Julian Prégardien and Bryan Benner
Together with Benner, Prégardien explores Schubert's oeuvre both in music and in conversation. Then it's your turn, dear audience: choose your favourites from Schubert's more than 600 songs, which Julian Prégardien and pianist Daniel Heide will then interpret spontaneously in the second half of the concert. A get-together with the artists will round off the Schubert-themed evening.
