Émile Zola: »L'Argent« (»Money«)

The »Musik und Dichtung« cycle tells of business and emotions: on nine lunchtime dates, we immerse ourselves in literature with readers such as Dörte Lyssewski, Regina Fritsch and Erwin Steinhauer, who explore the relationship between economic circumstances and human behavior. Addiction to pleasure and the pursuit of power and money are the (sinister) ingredients of Émile Zola's financial novel »L'Argent« (»Money«). Actor Erwin Steinhauer, who has his own portrait series dedicated to him this season, reads from Zola's gripping financial thriller, while Herbert Schuch interprets compositions by Richard Wagner, Erik Satie, Ferruccio Busoni and others.
