Happy Birthday, Federspiel!
Founded in 2004, the Federspiel ensemble is one of the most innovative ensembles on the European wind music scene. The seven musicians have long since conquered the world's major concert stages, are regular guests at renowned festivals and can boast a multi-award-winning discography. Their multi-layered musical language stems from the fascinating tension between tradition and modernity; creativity, spontaneity and boundless playfulness are the order of the day. Federspiel is celebrating its 20th anniversary with musician friends and presenting new compositions in the typical Federspiel sound as well as favorite pieces and anecdotes from the past.
