3 Cohens in a Quartet

The history of jazz is marked by music-making siblings – from the Adderleys to the Heath Brothers to the Turrentines. Growing up together obviously allows them to develop a natural relationship to music: Avishai, Anat and Yuval Cohen are no exception to the rule. The siblings grew up in Tel Aviv and together developed a fondness for jazz and wind instruments: »We can talk to each other without talking. Often we don't even look at each other on stage. We share such a big story that we can feel each other through the music,« explains Anat, the sister in the group. Watching this almost telepathic sense of swing and improvisation on stage is a real treat. Yonathan Avishai completes the trio's sound on the keys.
