Big emotions and lipstick for everyone
Big emotions and a brightly colored evening are guaranteed when singer Anja Om is on stage with her group of five other musicians and the Schmusechor. She sometimes sounds »like a new Björk«, praised the singer Anja Obermayer alias Anja Om in a specialist magazine. Inspired by artists such as Björk, Laura Mvula or the choral composer Eric Whitacre, she skillfully combines contemporary polyphony, improvisation, narrative pop songs and piano ballads. It is hard to imagine the Viennese music scene without her, just like the Schmusechor, where pop meets rousing stage performances and extravagant outfits. With emotional songs and danceable hits, the Schmusechor covers the entire range of emotions and sings against sexism and racism.
