Presented by Wiener Konzerthausgesellschaft

»Bakunawa«

A mixture of hypnotic beats and melodies that inspire - Shake Stew's concerts enjoy cult status among audiences. For their latest project »Bakunawa«, they are collaborating with the French-Syrian flautist Naïssam Jalal. With her virtuoso improvisations, the flautist not only won the hearts of audiences, but also the coveted »Coup de Cœur« of the Académie Charles-Cros. Now she is making her debut at the Wiener Konzerthaus alongside Shake Stew. »The unspoken magic words are magic and energy - Shake Stew brings something cultish to contemporary jazz«, said the German Record Critics' Jury about the top ensemble.
