Presented by Wiener Konzerthausgesellschaft

Piano trio and percussion to the power of 3

In this concert, violinist Nikita Boriso-Glebsky and cellist Narek Hakhnazaryan, both of whom have received awards for their outstanding playing at the International Tchaikovsky Competition, among others, form a chamber music constellation that is as rare to hear as it is exciting, the pianist and enthusiastic chamber musician Georgy Tchaidze, as well as Vivi Vassileva, currently one of the leading percussion soloists and »Great Talent« of the Wiener Konzerthaus, and Jürgen Leitner and David Hödlmoser, two other promising percussion talents from Martin Grubinger's Percussive Planet Ensemble. In addition to piano trios by Schubert and Beethoven, they will jointly perform Shostakovich's Symphony No. 15 in A major, op. 141, in the highly acclaimed arrangement for piano trio and percussion by pianist and arranger Victor Derevianko.
