When it comes to defining the space between classical and electronic music, hardly any other name is mentioned as often as that of Berlin-based pianist, composer and producer Nils Frahm. His unconventional approach to an ancient instrument, which he plays contemplatively and intimately, and his sonic alchemy of ambient textures and atmospheric electronica have won him many fans around the world. Numerous tours and concerts around the globe have cemented his reputation as an exceptional instrumentalist and mesmerizing live musician. His albums have been praised by audiences and critics alike, and his live shows are regularly sold out. After acclaimed performances in 2018, 2019 and 2022, Nils Frahm now returns to the Wiener Konzerthaus to present brand new music that straddles the worlds of experimental, ambient and electronica.
