Back to the roots
New York native and 15-time Grammy Award winner Belá Fleck is considered by many to be the finest banjo player of our time. Tirelessly curious, he effortlessly blends bluegrass, classical, jazz, pop, rock, world music and everything in between to create great music. He has enjoyed great success with the bands New Grass Revival and The Flecktones, among others. His musical partners include Sam Bush, Tony Rice, Stuart Duncan, Mark Schatz, Jerry Douglas, Edgar Meyer, Chick Corea, Sting and Bruce Hornsby.
For his 2021 album »My bluegrass heart«, Belá Fleck has delved deeply into the global history of his instrument and fully explored the banjo's range. But above all, »My bluegrass heart« is a homecoming to his musical roots in bluegrass - in the wake of his legendary bluegrass albums »Drive« and »The bluegrass sessions«.
