Mao Fujita: Recital debut at »Klavier im Mozart-Saal«

In May 2023, the pianist made his debut at the Wiener Konzerthaus with Rachmaninoff's 3rd Piano Concerto, which is considered one of the most demanding virtuoso concertos and the Olympus of piano playing for many pianists: a debut that was unrivalled and was celebrated with minutes of applause. Now Fujita returns to the Wiener Konzerthaus and makes his solo debut in the Mozart Hall. Grieg, Chopin, Schumann, Prokofiev and a rarity by Déodat de Séverac are on the programme: a spectrum ranging from French and Norwegian Romanticism to the early days of modernism.
