Presented by Wiener Konzerthausgesellschaft

Pure Dvořák II

Antonín Dvořák's sizzling »Carnival« overture opens the Czech Philharmonic's second guest performance with a great deal of beautiful chingderassabum. The soloist in his only piano concerto is then Sir András Schiff, who was awarded the Antonín Dvořák Prize by the Prague Academy of Music two years ago. And with one of the most famous symphonies of all, the Czech Philharmonic Orchestra, under the direction of its chief conductor Semyon Bychkov, bids farewell to a surely exuberantly grateful Viennese audience to well-familiar sounds »From the New World«.
