It doesn't get more Viennese than this

This concert with readings is sure to strike the right note for those who like good old Viennese tradition with plenty of humor, but also a little morbidity. With popular classics such as »Der g'schupfte Ferdl« and »Tauben vergiften«, Austrian actors and singers Ethel Merhaut, Katharina Stemberger, Wolf Bachofner and Karl Markovics pay tribute to Viennese cult musicians and cabaret artists Gerhard Bronner and Georg Kreisler, both of whom would have celebrated their 101st birthdays this year. They will be accompanied on the piano by pianist and composer Bela Koreny, who came up with the idea for the program. Black, profound humor and plenty of wit are guaranteed on this evening!
